Maren, I think the point you’re making is absolutely true. It is easier than ever before to spread your opinion nowadays. Regardless of how hurtful, dumb or racist it is, it only takes hours to reach basically everybody. But while most of us whish to sometimes just make somebody shut up and never have to read the stuff(there was another word here before) they utter, I still think it is great to live in one of the few remaining countries where it is possible to publically state your opinion without being sent to prison (China), declared an Enemy of the State (Turkey) or being censored in some other way (USA). Even though it means that we have to listen to the crap that AfD, Pegida and other parties produce, they have the right to do that. And I respect that, even though I don’t agree with it.
