Let me set the scene. It’s 2022 and we’re living in a world shaped by technological innovation. And yet, somehow within this AI enhanced, hyper-connected world, there still exists the recruitment industry, a remote island largely untouched by the digitalisation that has pervaded the rest of the modern world. A remote island where recruiters are still sending boring text emails to hiring managers with uninspiring PDFs attached.
It was with this backdrop that our story begins. Shaun, a tech recruiter at the top of his game, contacted Scott, a slick software engineer and former CTO, about a reference for a candidate. The conversation turned to the state of the recruitment landscape and then onwards to what we found to be a shared desire to shake things up.
What if we ditched the PDFs and used some modern technology to show off candidates skills? What if we replaced boring emails with interactive hiring experiences? What if we engaged the latest AI tools to accelerate monotonous recruitment processes. It could be a game-changer! The ideas were flowing and we didn’t know where this journey would take us but we were excited to find out.

Fast-forward 9 months of creative ideation, diligent development and not a small number of mad marketing plans and we’re making plans for a product launch. We’re starting with a limited beta release, to knock those last few bugs on the head, and then it’s time to get serious. Time to challenge the status quo and throw some innovation fireworks into the middle of the party and watch what happens?
