You’re right in effect, I changed the text a little, but kept the title. I feel critical of people who start thinking of rational strategist as something to achieve. Doing that job they’ll discover the effect might be that of becoming soulless or robotic. TV series like House of Cards normalize the thinking of politics as all power moves on a chess board. I think politics should be about having high ideals, not about cold hearted self interest. So let people wonder what so bad about the ‘normal’ of strategists.
