Why You Should HIIT it
I hate going to the gym and seeing how much space is devoted to Cardio Machines and how much time people spend on them. Once Upon a Time I was guilty of spending tons of time on the elliptical and stationary bike, because I didn’t know how to do anything else. Fast-forward 2016 that is no longer the case. So it’s always interesting when I hear someone say that they want to lose fat by going on the elliptical. My inner trainer just LOL’d because my outer trainer has to play nice and kindly tell people that you won’t get the body you want by spending hours on the elliptical while reading a magazine since (sorry to break it to you,) it’s NOT a workout. One of the things I can thank the rise of the Instagram model for, is that it seems a lot of females have realized that doing weights and Interval training is the way to go if you want to change your body composition and use your time effectively.
What is HIIT Training?
HIIT is the acronym for High Intensity Interval Training.
Why Should You try it?
It requires less time than steady state cardio, more fat burning, you can build strength and burn fat while doing it.
What are the Benefits?
You spend less time on a cardio machine, are doing something more effective and you get out of your plateau and actually see results.
