The Evolvulus nuttallianus, also known as the American Blue, is a plant from the Convolvulaceae family and the Evolvulus genus, native to North America. This plant can be found in the southern parts of South China, East China, and Southwest China.

The entire plant can grow up to 45 centimeters tall, with its young branches densely covered in white woolly hairs, extending in a semi-vine-like or creeping manner.

Its leaves are alternate, oval-shaped, entire, papery, and densely covered with white woolly hairs on the back. The flowers are axillary and sympetalous, with a blue corolla and a white star-shaped center.
