Well, hello there! 👋 We’re Airstripe.
We want to kick off our very first blog post by introducing ourselves, and tell you how you can use Airstripe to create the best flights ever.
Who are we? 🤔
We’re Bea, Jonathan, Ilya, Borja and Astrid, and we’re the co-founders of Airstripe!
We’re a diverse bunch with backgrounds in startups, crowdfunding campaign management, business, advertising, cargo airline management, journalism — a bit of everything really!
We’re an international team based in Barcelona and Madrid, and we’ve joined forces to build Airstripe — and we’re proud to be part of IAG’s Hangar 51 startup accelerator!
What is Airstripe? ✈️
Airstripe is a disruptive and innovative online platform designed to help you create great flights. We’re working with some of the most trusted names in the airline industry to bring dream flights to life.
We know that trips start at the airport, not at the destination, and Airstripe exists so you can create your own amazing, customized flights.
You choose the origin and destination; and customize the flight with events and perks on board. Based on a crowdfunding model, Airstripe is a social platform that lets you get friends, family and people with similar interests on board your flight too. It’s simple:
- Create your flight
- Customize it
- Spread the word
- Promote it and get people on board
- If you fill the plane: your Airstripe flight will take off!
Sounds like something you’ve never heard of before? Well, yes — that’s because it hasn’t been done before!
What kind of flights can I create with Airstripe? 💡
