Isn’t it Lovely to Think So?

A Poem.

Isn’t it Lovely to Think So?

Strawberry creeps across your lips

And the crescent moon they hide

Between their sweetened luster

Breaks pieces off my heart

That scatter and play like the stars —

Stretching our universe to more

Than just these moments

.
