Overcoming Apple Fanboys’ Insecurities: iOS 16

The war between the two OS is not old. For many years, keyboard warriors have been raging on about the superiority of iOS over android or vice versa in YouTube comments, Reddit forums, and God knows where else.

The Defensive Stance

Throughout the years, there has always been a narrative taken by the iOS club that the iPhones just work. They don’t give you many customization options; the icons are on the main home screen, the settings are as they are, the lock screen displays notifications in a set manner, etc.

And to keep android supremacists from talking too much about the highly customizable nature of the android operating system, Apple fanboys have either taken the approach of “it is extremely easy to use and to shift from one iPhone to another” or gone about tweaking the look of their phone through jailbreaking.

Insecurity Creeps In

But no matter how convincing these arguments were made to sound to others or to even their own poor customization-hungry souls, Apple fanboys have always had this hollowness in them of not getting what they wanted. An insecurity that they have been consistently trying to cover.

But something that they would’ve never thought to be bestowed upon them by the “geniuses” at Apple is somewhat coming to reality…
