Why I am learning Programming.

Programming is an interesting venture to take on. It has brought into existence various things that have improved our everyday life. Learning Programming is one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life.

The main reason I thought of programming was to draw me back in line with my initial dream. Life had dragged me way far from what I wanted to be in the beginning and dropped in a field that I had never admired at all. Seeing my dream coming to life again has made me delighted and practically made me forego things I never thought I would ever in life just to make my dream alive again.

The other reason is to satisfy my ego. I love being useful to the people around me because it gives me a sense of direction in life. And with the programming knowledge and skills, I will change people’s lives positively because i hate being a negative factor.

Curiosity killed the cat. Holy Jesus! This proverb drives me nuts sometimes. But I also want to quench my curiosity and find out why some things are the way they are. I love going into detail of how things came into existence and obviously programming is already helping me know how. And it will also change this proverb to maybe “Curiosity brought the cat back to life.” Haaaaaaa!

Many people have used programming to solve problems in this world and I also want to be among those people so as to make the a better place to live. So, am just in the perfect place and doing the right thing.

Another thing that was not intended but came up with time is self discipline. Programming teaches one define their best working hours and best time when they can critically think. To know when you should be doing what. Since it calls for soberness, it grooms one on when to be sober and not.

It also helps one discover their hidden capabilities. Sometimes our capabilities are untraceable and this makes us sometimes feel less important in life which is a very deadly thing. Programming can enable you discover yourself. You maybe a critical thinker, a problem solver, a good web developer, great hacker and your are their back home lamenting on what to do and feeling unworthy among your peers but its not until you try out this venture that you will discover yourself. So am also on a venture to discover my hidden capabilities .

Programming also brings in the element of self drive. This is what I have discovered in the last few weeks I have been on this venture. You always find yourself tying to figure out why things are not working out as u want them to and can hardly rest until a solution is got. This I had earlier but with the programming venture, it has risen to an unbelievable level. This pushes you to learn more and become better.

This venture am no is not questionable at all because it is the way to go.
