From “Things with Planned Obsolence” to “Perdurable Things by Subscription”

Once consumer production evolved from valuating things by their longevity to planned obsolence to keep customers to renew products.

Next step is to produce perdurable products (literally or by immidiate replacing broken products with new ones) and maintain profit selling them with “Subscription plans” (like a leasing or smth..).

Imagine a car which constructed to run for a 10 years without any breaks, but keeping to operate only if you didn’t forget to pay your monthly subscription fee.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?
