Introducing FOIN’s new CEO, Mr. Yuri Blokhin
As promised in the announcement from last week, we would like to make some clarifications regarding the current FOIN management.
Because of the recent Coronavirus crisis and the hard times ahead, Mr. Ruslan Salatov has decided to step down as CEO of FOIN.
The core team of FOIN that Mr. Salatov assembled has chosen to resign as well. Luckily, they have elected to stay onboard until suitable replacements were found. We are sad to see them go, but every great era comes to an end.
So what will FOIN do onwards?
Historically speaking, crisis, either pandemic or financial, are periodic and affect most businesses and societies across the globe. However, even though most participants suffer heavy losses, there are a handful that adapt to the change and thrive when other collapse. This is hardcoded in our DNA, and like Charles Darwin said: “It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is most adaptable to change”.
And without further delay, we would like to introduce our new CEO, Mr. Yuri Blokhin.
Mr Blokhin is a software engineer at his origins with a background in computer science. He has been involved with several crypto projects as an open source contributor and for the past 4 years he has been an active crypto trader, managing his own portfolio as well as offering his services to selected clients as well. The portolio value managed by him exceeded 1500 BTC at his peak and has consistently delivered annual returns of more than 20%.
Mr. Yuri Blokhin will bring his markets experience to FOIN and will lead the technology revolution that FOIN requires. This will mean new products launched under the FOIN umbrella, new partnerships and a diversification of services offered to the FOIN community.
Based on his extended skill set, we believe Mr. Blokhin is the change we all need that will steer FOIN in the right direction, especially during these troubled times. More about this in an interview with our new CEO, coming in a separate post, next week.
Stay safe, stay healthy!
