I also look at companies that provide gyms, laundry services, extensive kitchens, day cares, etc. to their employees with a skeptical eye. Sure, employees love those benefits but for the most part, the company isn’t providing those things for altruistic reasons. It’s instead to trap you at work because then you can have excuses like, “I need to go home and eat dinner” or “I need to pick up little Jimmy from daycare”. Those excuses get wiped out because everything is housed on the corporate campus shackling you there with golden handcuffs.
