I appreciate this story so much. When I first got out of college and entered a sales profession (mortgage refi), my boss’ mentality was completely old school. You know the style. Call obsessively. If they say they need to speak with their way, insult their manhood. That kind of (despicable) stuff.

I’ve found it’s much easier to complete a sale when all you try and do is provide the potential customer with as much value as possible. It’s much easier to connect and get them on board with what you are pitching. Plus it doesn’t make me feel like scum. I can see the Gary Vee JJJRH influence here!
