I know a lot of people are calling these “click-bait” headlines, but in reality all you are doing is effectively marketing your content (via the headline) to get people to read the full article. Just because you have a catchy or popular headline does not mean the article is click-bait. Click-bait is when your headline is “This is Why You Photograph Beautiful People Naked” but the article is about photography equipment. Don’t get effective, catchy or popular sounding headlines confused with true click-bait writing. Thanks for sharing this post as I’ll be saving it for my upcoming articles.
