Mirah, you are a sensitive creature. Attacking you is punching you, kicking you, strangling you. These people whom you don’t like are saying rude things to you. At a distance. A very long distance. If these people start following you around and trying to friend you on Facebook, you might have a case. But as long as the discussion is contained within its own venue, you are overreacting (men overreact too).

If you are making an argument for civility online, it applies equally to men and women and is not gender driven.
