Like I mentioned before, it’s very likely Trump has connections and shady deals with the Russian government (considering it’s from a businessman who loves shady deals). But also considering that connections and shady deals with the Russian government (or any other foreign government) are extremely common practice in our government officials. What the specific prosecution of Trump and not anyone else (Hillary, Obama, etc…) shows is that the political establishment doesn’t like Trump, but does like a certain someone likely to take presidency if Trump leaves office — Mike Pence. Instead of having someone visibly insane, they’d rather have someone like Pence, just as insane, but keeps it on the inside.
That’s a whole different conversation, but as far as your claim that Trump has connections and shady deals with the Russian government, I don’t happen to disagree.
