Nice Article
Hi there Isis, I’ve enjoyed your articles about Puerto Viejo a lot. As a Costarrican is really sad to admit that must of us don’t even know what’s in the far coasts of the South Caribbean due to some fake prejudice about how insecure the province of Limon is. My father was a construction contractor in the States for almost 14 years, suddenly and opportunity for him came out and he found himself coming back to his country after so many years away from his family. But that’s not where everything ends, because he started working for a Canadian lady in Punta Uva, building a nice and big house among endless and amazing virgin Jungle. It didn’t took to my family and myself a lot of time before we were able to visit my dad, after that, my life was never the same….The beauty of the South Caribbean, the people, the beaches and the general atmosphere it’s just overwhelming, I felt in love in the first moment I got there, and I felt so hard that right now my life has summarized to work and gain enough money to visit my dad every two weeks. Perhaps our South Caribbean holds the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica, which makes it even sadder that most of the Ticos don’t even know those places exist between our borders. I decided to create a photography project to show everybody in the world how beautiful the Costarican South Caribbean is, so it would be very nice if you can check it out! https://www.behance.net/gallery/19655855/El-Caribe-Arena-Sol-y-Playa
Also, allow me to recommend to you the very best Rice and Beans in Manzanillo, check it out in Cool and Calm Cafe and ask for it’s famous Rasta chef Andy.
Thanks for this nice article and enjoy the sandy beaches of the South Carribean!
Best,
Luis.
