What spending WWI & WWII with Ken Follett taught me about writing
Carla Paton

Ken Follet is a great writer, as capable as anyone out there. Look no further than his first novel, “Eye of the Needle”. What I’ve found interesting in his Century trilogy is how simple and clear his writing is, almost childlike. It’s the difference between literature and storytelling. If you tell a compelling story you don’t have to be prosaic.
