Meet the Foodie Out Loud!
You will be surprised to know that Megan Peterson used to be shy and struggled to finish the food on her plate. Those days are long gone, today Peterson is better known as the Foodie Out Loud, snapping pictures of the best dishes and talking about it out loud as well as on her website.
“My personal Instagram account became flooded with photos of the food I was eating at local restaurants. It got so overbumbarted I just opened another account for pictures of food,” says Peterson. Little did she know that she would have restaurants reposting her photos to their Instagram accounts, and merchants inviting her to to taste their signature dishes.
Foodie Out Loud officially launched on November, 23rd of 2015. It’s an online dining guide where you can look through Megan’s Top Restaurant Picks, take a step inside, and read Megan’s blog. When you step inside you have access to the full menu, photos, favorite menu items and reservation booking for that restaurant. Foodieoutloud.com narrows it down to the top picks for all cuisines, all over New York City. Foodie Out Loud is currently based in New York City, however Megan includes her “NJ Favorites.”
“I am bringing Foodie Out Loud to New Jersey, since I am a New Jersey native, and throughout my travels performing on tour, NJ still remains home to some of the best food I’ve ever had. I want people to know about local gems all over the country!”
Megan’s blog covers topics from anything relating to a stand up quick bite, to a fancy sit down steak dinner. Depending on the requests from foodie followers, upcoming events, and holidays determine the blog topic.
