It’s good to see Americans stand up for their rights. But it’s sad to see that it took this degree of personal selfishness to see many of these people working and fighting as others of us have done for most of our lives. Until their very lives were at stake, they had no more concern for justice or equality than these republican politicians have every day. Sad. (No, genuinely, seriously sad.)
