“In Zen, they advise that instead of saying, “I am angry,” to say, “I feel anger.””

Do they? I’m no Zen Buddhist, but I always thought that instead of saying “I am angry” they would recommend “There is anger”. Less emphasis on “I”, more on conscious awareness of the universe. Seems like a change in perspective useful for letting go.

By the way, what is ACT? I’m not familiar with this acronym.
