No you can’t be my black friend.

You can be my friend from class,

Or my friend from hockey,

The one that wont stop talking.

You can be my friend from work,

Or my friend from that party

That was given by my other friend.

You can be my friend from Church,

Or my friend from the ‘hood,

Even if that ‘hood was big lawn, two car garage suburbia.

You can be my girlfriend,

Or my boyfriend, whatever;

My soul-mate, or best friend forever.

And I wont be your white friend either.
