Thank you for coming back!

Got an following error during hibr2bin on Hiberil.sys from local Windows 10 x64 machine ;

“Error: The content of the hibernation file had been wiped out.”

Steps as following;

  • powercfg -h on
  • shutdown -h
  • Turn on the system
  • Export hiberfil.sys to other location using FTKIMAGER / RAWCOPY
  • Execute hibr2bin
  • Got Error

The main magic bytes of hiberfil.sys are “WAKE”

I may try to connect SYSTEMDRIVE to other machine or boot with WIN_PE then extract the hiberfil.sys, but just want to know if above method is possible.
