Ames didn’t really have anything to say to that, and for a moment both of them were silent.

Jordan barely moved his eyes grew still and vacant, and Ames couldn’t help but wonder what passed events he was reliving. The moment passed though, and he looked into her eyes.

“Let us get to the matter at hand, I believe we have wasted enough time as it is.”

Ames nodded, “Certainly.”

“I would be curious about your thoughts on Bronski.”

Ames didn’t miss the hesitation in his eyes. He and Bronski were playing some game, and she suspected to understood what was happening.

“I believe that he is choosing not to look to closely into the events.”

“Why?”

“Because there is a good chance that Bronski is fully aware that there is someone working with those things… those…” At this she waved a hand trying to remember the term.

“Fangs,” Jordan supplied.

“Right, the fangs. My guess is that he realizes the same thing you do.”

“Which is what?”

“If Bronski were to learn the true nature of those involved, he would probably handle it poorly.”
