Mature content doth be below. I try to keep it reasonable, but the nature of the subject doesn’t make it necessarily easy to accomplish. So consider this the warning. Language and Gore follow. It isn’t a blood-fest, however.

“Please help me.”

The house reeked of blood and awful. The first body inside had it’s head cut clean off, it was also missing a leg and an arm. Bronski knew that meant it was probably the first one Jordan had encountered.

The second was in what had been a living space, it had the couches and a large wall TV at any rate. This body still moved and talked.

It had been the young boy.

God these were the worst. Bronski had to close his eyes and remember what the voice was saying, not what it sounded like.

“Mommy can you help me? Mommy where are you?”

Bronski noticed the tears in Ames eyes. So had that foul little creature. It would keep up a steady dialogue of talk about its mom because of that. He was suspicious that Ames would have a hard time holding back more tears.

Jordan was standing over the kid looking a tad bit bored. No, not a kid. It wasn’t a kid. This was when he envied the men who were outside. It was hard enough to gun down a kid, but it was a lot easier than interrogating one.

“Want me to spike him? Are we going to stand here all day?”, Jordan’s voice was empty and cold.
