What are the Best Science Fiction Movies to watch on Crave? There are so many movies and tv shows on Crave it can be hard to find the best of any genre.

So I gathered the Best Sci-Fi Movies available on Crave right now. Let’s dive in! *I didn’t include any movies that were only available with the STARZ add-on*

The Invisible Man

Zack Snyder’s Justice League

The Snyder Cut is Zack Snyder’s original version of Justice League come to life. Following Batman as he and Wonder Woman put together a team of heroes to defend the world from an approaching apocalyptic threat.

With a runtime of 4 hours, Zack Snyder’s Justice League provides a deeper dive into the Justice League story, with more action, darker tones and a lot more slow-motion scenes. Justice League also features a lot of alien and human technology straight out of science fiction.

Universal Soldier

Jean-Claude Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren are rival soldiers who were killed in combat but brought back to life in a top-secret military experiment that made them into superhuman warriors.

Universal Soldier is an action-packed and visually stunning science-fiction story with an alright plot and decent characters.

Though not critically acclaimed, Universal Soldier is still an interesting movie with a unique sci-fi concept and Jean-Claude Van Damme kicking butt at the peak of his career. Filled with science-fiction tropes, Universal Soldier is an enjoyable dive into a 90s sci-fi flick.

Ghostbusters (1984)

Three parapsychologists opened a ghost removal service in New York City and paranormal hijinks ensued. Ghostbusters is a hilarious, family-friendly and fun science fiction fantasy movie that is a classic for a reason.

With a killer theme song and some of the best comedic and dramatic actors of the time, Ghostbusters is a fun, thrill ride for any who enjoys a comedic take on a sci-fi movie. And with 3 sequels/spin-offs/reboots, it’s easily one of the best sci-fi movies on Crave and of all time.

Dune (1984)

Based on the science fiction book series, Dune follows a Duke’s son who leads an army of warriors against the emperor to free their desert world from the emperor’s rule.

Dune (1984) has its flaws with underwhelming special effects and slow pace, however, it is still an enjoyable science fiction adventure.

With an entertaining and intriguing story, unique characters and creative vision, Dune is a fun and different exploration of a sci-fi universe based on a beloved book series.

Godzilla vs Kong

Pitting two of the greatest movie monsters in film history against one another, Godzilla vs Kong is a fantastic, fun and entertaining battle for the ages. With city-crushing monster fights and stunning visual effects, Godzilla vs Kong is a thrilling and fun ride for any who is a fan of either of these two silver-screen icons.

With less focus on the humans and more on Godzilla and Kong, this movie gives fans exactly what they wanted with a huge dose of monster battles, destruction and science fiction-based technology. Godzilla vs Kong will easily fight its way into any sci-fi movie fan’s heart.

Inception

Using dream-sharing technology, a mind-thief involved in corporate espionage is given the task of planting an idea into the mind of a CEO. Christopher Nolan outdoes himself with this exciting and intriguing sci-fi thriller.

With an outstanding cast, compelling performances and amazing visual effects, Inception is a thrilling adventure into the unique science fiction of entering others’ dreams. Nolan keeps viewers on the edge of their seats for the entire two and a half hours of this original and innovative film.

The Fly (1986)

An eccentric scientist begins to transform into a giant man/fly hybrid after one of his experiments goes terribly wrong. As gross as it is intriguing, The Fly is a gruesome and compelling sci-fi horror remake.

The Fly gives viewers, Jeff Goldblum in one of his best performances as a scientist dealing with the consequences of his experiments and the transformation he goes through. Not for the faint of heart, with stomach-churning effects and nail-biting suspense, The Fly is a classic science fiction horror movie for a reason.

Total Recall (1990)

Based on the Philip K. Dick short story, Total Recall follows a construction worker who receives an implanted memory of a fantastical adventure on Mars, which seems to come to reality.

Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger at the peak of his career, Total Recall is a fun and entertaining science fiction story.

With memory implanting tech, space travel and a Martian dictator, Total Recall has a little of something for all sci-fi fans. Thanks to its compelling story, entertaining characters and classic Schwarzenegger one-liners, Total Recall is one of the best sci-fi movies on Crave and of all time.

The Matrix

In a dystopian future where humanity is unknowingly trapped inside a simulated reality, the Matrix, created by intelligent machines to distract humans while using their bodies as an energy source.

The Matrix blew away audiences when it first came out and continues to do so over 20 years later.
