You’re right, ingrid durden, in fact herbal ‘remedies’ go back to the mists of time — well before the Middle Ages. The same goes for the other ‘medicines’ mentioned in this fake news piece …they all have origins in healing practices going back thousands of years. The fact that many drugs developed by the pharmaceutical industry are derived from plants is proof of the efficacy of natural substances as medicines.

Having modified natural compounds in the lab sufficiently to patent them, big pharma then markets them as new wonder drugs, while at the same time paying mercenary stooges (“shill bloggers” for example) in a concerted, highly funded effort to suppress and criticise the original plant as being worthless, so people won’t go to the source of the cure.
