Religion

The Christian who says that he does not practice religion, has found himself a new delusion, even a new toy to play with; for as long as you believe in God and make the effort to commune with him you have a religion.

There are many religions and cults with diverse creeds and observances but all have one goal — to connect Man with God, human with divinity. Christianity is not a religion but a cult. Your personal relationship with God — that is religion.

Christ did not come to establish a cult named after him (his refusal to write a book was a consequence of this). His message was for everyone thus he sent out his disciples to preach the gospel even to the ends of the earth.

One can only write a religious book to match the intellectual capacity of the people at the time of writing, and their capacity to receive truth. However, once this book is written, men have the tendency to crystallize the truth in it and fail to seek higher truths, thereby stagnating their spiritual growth. You cannot teach the Trinity to a race that practices polytheism without confusing them — the Muslims failed to comprehend the Trinity, and have been stuck at monotheism ever since because “Holy Quran”.
