Is AI art, or does it lack the soul and emotion of a human artist? Does AI steal from existing artworks to generate images? Most importantly, will AI take jobs from human artists? This debate is raging after a recent class action lawsuit filed against text-to-image AI by a group of artists.

The plaintiffs argue that this type of generative AI is taking away their livelihoods and devaluing the work of human artists. But what is the response from those who use text-to-image AI? Do they believe creativity still comes from humans, or can machines create art independently?
