Less controversial than the Oscars (that I have read) the week before, which gave more space for the music to shine through. The performances during the Grammy’s are an annual highlight for me, because the music is so varied. There are the big celebrity performances (BTS, Billie Eilish, Justin Bieber, and more) but also the up-and-coming performers (Olivia Rodrigo, H.E.R.) and a variety of music (the closing act, Brothers Osborne, are primarily a country-rock band). The main awards show does not have an official video available, but the afternoon award show does, which is full of great music from lesser mainstream artists: 64th Annual GRAMMY Awards Premiere Ceremony — YouTube

One highlight for me was discovering that Jon Batiste not only had a new album out, but also won several Grammys, including Best Album of the Year. He won for Best Music Video too, which is a lot of fun:

It made me reminisce about how I discovered music when I was a teenager and in University. There were lots of magazines with music reviews and news about when new albums would be released. My favourite one, Mixmag, included…
