I built something similar in some retail software I develop. It involves drawing a directed graph with data on nodes, and we then allow variation over some input data. I haven’t figured out a good way to specify dependency, other than straight-up using formulas. So say variable A has M,s variation, so variable B would just be A/3 or something like that.
