Social media, lets use it right!

In this blog I will focus on the use of social media by graduates and budding professionals. When we say social media Facebook, linked in, Twitter and Instagram is what straightaway comes to our mind. If you look back, do you also feel the same that we have been using Facebook just to feed our curiosity about what is happening in life of others, or order each and every eye catching product that is advertised in it. Well, this is what I did until the time when I realized what unwanted think I was doing for all these days, and for many years indeed. The story is much similar with other social media usage that I have listed before.
If you are one and now that we realized the fact, let’s ponder over how to start investing time on these social media platforms productively. Being a professional I shall put forth my view point about how we can use them effectively for our professional growth and productivity, and I shall opt linked in and try explaining this.
Its very well known that Linked in is a professional networking media, and you will be overwhelmed by the gratified information shared in it. So, if you find yourself one among them, update your profile and establish connections. Being professionally connected with your friends and coworker is part of socializing which you mostly like from using Facebook, and it’s a basic building block of being in your professional field for a longer run.
When you have your connection, write review about your fellow associate or request one for you. This helps you introspect and understand better about your strengths and work closely on improving them. You also give much visible clarity about your work to the organization you are working on and also open up potential offer window. Also, post your understanding and share what you find informative.
It’s important to note that you stay informative about the latest happenings in and across your area of interest which is the need of hour, and thus helping you grow and be productive. So update your profile, stay connected and create it if you don’t have one. Lastly don’t forget to upload your professionally positive photo. It speaks a lot! :)
