The workplace is whatever people make it. If you start a company, why shouldn’t you be allowed to design the workplace in whatever way you see fit? Workplaces are not created for your benefit, and nobody is entitled to a workplace.

And why is it then OK to have beer as a bartender, but not at other workplaces? How about if you don’t like ping pong and beer, go work for a bank? There are lots of different employers, enough to cater for everybody.

Suppose you really like beer, and you start a company. Because you like beer, you invite your employees to a beer after work. How does that make you evil? It doesn’t, that’s how.
