While walking around 41st and Chestnut in West Philadelphia, I was surprised to see a Depop ad, displayed proudly on a billboard. The app I used frequently in high school to clear my closet and make a couple of bucks is now quickly gaining fame and as of June 2019, the trendy, resale-based app has a total of 13 million users.
