I’ve suspected for a long time the Clinton marriage has always been one of convenience — as archaic as it gets!

For all you House of Cards fans out there, I’m thinking “Claire Underwood minus the figure and the fashion sense.”

A calculating and cunning also-ran of mediocre abilities, hiding her outsize ambition in plain sight behind her husband’s coattails, a do-nothing glory-grabber with the most hollow of resumes in her own right, just waiting her chance to utter to the gallery those chilling words of Mrs Underwood:

“my turn.”

Only it turned out she was not nearly so smart as she thought she was.

History has a way of showing some folks that, the ones who get the bit between their teeth and simply believe they can take charge of reality its ownself, for no more than wanting to.
