Many women, especially progressives, do NOT believe Hillary is the best person for us.

Whatever you may think of any specific talking-point or doctrine of feminism, and I’m not setting out to debate them with you, the overall narrative of feminism as put forward by both the advertisers and the intellectuals who craft its messages, tends to continually insult women’s intelligence, autonomy and decision-making acumen all at once.

This branding of Mrs Clinton as “The First Woman President” (I first heard that term around maybe 1995….) is a perfect example:

look, girls, this one’s female, you’ll vote for her just for that, right? RIGHT? I can’t hear you, ladies: One more time, and with feeling: “stron-ger to-geth-er…..”

And you just weren’t supposed to notice that she started her career as a rape-apologist lawyer accusing a twelve-year-old who was comatose for five days after being raped by her client, of “fantasizing.” And she hasn’t changed a bit since: as vicious, opportunistic and duplicitous as any man who ever drew pay in government service, and more so than most.

What does her being female have to do with her qualifications?

What did it, ever?

Wasn’t that (brace yourself) kinda the whole point behind this “equality”???
