How just being mindful of a goal helps make if happen
One of my goals for 2017 was to do more speaking, aiming for once a month.
Although I didn’t have specific actionable steps to achieve this, having this goal top of mind allowed me to both create and pursue opportunities that resulted in more speaking. I was mindful of the goal.
With all of the panel discussions, workshops and events, it averaged out to more than that.
I’m thankful for every opportunity. And I didn’t feel the pressure that’s usually associated with new year’s resolutions.
One of my goals for 2018 is to write (as I’m working toward my first book), and produce more video content.
While I don’t tend to follow #NewYearsResolutions formally, I will look back to this post in a year to see how I did!
