Swarm is the blockchain platform that tokenizes private equity and real-world, high-class investment opportunities formerly exclusive to a select few, and makes them accessible for everyday retail investors. However, an underlying question for Swarm has been whether or not there will be liquidity sources to exchange these newly created security tokens. That question has now been answered in a big way as Swarm today announced their partnership with OpenFinance Network (OFN) which will involve the listing of all Swarm SRC20 tokens on its platform.

OFN officially launched just one day ago and is the first US-based, regulated security token trading platform. This fortuitous timing allows OFN to work synergistically with Swarm, implementing Swarm’s recent release of MAP in the OFN marketplace, as well as listing the RHET token (Robinhood Equity Token) the first of Swarm’s promised individual tech equity tokens. With the interoperability this partnership provides, RHET and all security tokens currently available on the Swarm platform can now be traded and liquidated via the OFN platform.

OFN will be the first securities trading platform to integrate Swarm’s MAP (Market Access Protocol). MAP is an open-sourced, globally-compliant protocol that can be deployed and built upon to ensure that the flow of securities transactions processed on the blockchain correlate with the required verification and qualification checks from all parties in real-time. MAP automates this process in accordance to the SRC-20 protocol, while simultaneously maintaining investors’ privacy by keeping their personal details protected.

With the deployment of MAP into OFN, Swarm’s SRC-20 tokens will seamlessly integrate with the platform, demonstrating the first of its many applications and signalling the beginning of a new era of democratized finance and equal investment opportunities.

Evidently, Swarm and OFN both share the vision to support the upcoming security token industry, and together will open up an entirely new market by providing the regulatory framework it needs in order to thrive.

The rising global interest in this emerging financial ecosystem places both companies are in the prime position to ride the security token wave in 2019. Jump on board at Swarm and OpenFinance Network.
