Francisco Javier Irizarry — Construction Industry Leader

Drawing on nearly 30 years of experience in the construction industry, Francisco Javier Irizarry has worked as the general manager of the Fluor in San Francisco Office, California, since 2021. In this position, he is tasked with the oversight of nearly all areas of operation at the company, ranging from financial strategy to profit-and-loss statements. He also serves as a project director for projects in California, which involves both off-site project management and on-site construction management. Francisco Javier Irizarry further serves as the West Coast regional operations manager for Fluor. His duties in this position include strategic staffing and management of operations.

Mr. Irizarry studied electrical engineering at Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico in San Juan, graduating with a bachelor of science and securing his engineer-in-training certification. He is a member of professional organizations such as the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering and the Lean Construction Institute. When he’s not managing his various leadership responsibilities with Fluor, he enjoys staying active by playing golf.
