1. The MTR is more efficient than our MRT. It’s packed with commuters and there are queues. But the trains come n go fast; the waiting time is short.
2. Their telco network connection is great. Surfing the net, facebooking, instagramming, app loading are smooth without much lag even in the subway underground. Our Singapore network? 3G or 4G no difference. Lags at some locations are expected and the MRT underground can have almost zilch reception.
3. Talking about being green. Many stores in Hong Kong do not pack the customers’ items into plastic bags. The customers are supposed to bring their own bags or pay for one at the cashier’s. In Singapore, most folks don’t have their own bags, and many ask for more plastic bags when buying “heavier” stuff. Just watching the circus at NTUC is enough a joke about our recycling effort.
4. The toilets at bigger malls in Hong Kong are cleaner generally than the Singapore equivalent.
5. Eating out in Hong Kong is more value for money than in Singapore. Might not be cheaper but often tastier.

6. Tim Ho Wan Hong Kong surely better than the Singapore ones. And queues are shorter too.

7. Hong Kong has Disneyland and City Gate. We only have Kittyland(not even ours) and City Plaza.

Ok lah Singapore is better in other areas lah. My home is here.
