What have we wrought with our fear. With our entitlement. We have laid bare the graves of our own undoing. And in our supposed haste to make service to god, we have sealed the fate of our own Iron Maiden.

The true horror of the holocaust lies in the interweaving of lies within truths. Truth of death and lies of escape. Truth of treachery and lies to our friends. Truth of misery and lies of the death of god. How can a people protect themselves or come together when their essence is infected with a self defeating prophecy? Their fate is singular until that great turning point is reached.

The same is true for Israel today. For the Jews today. The great pendulum has swung back far past the point of balance, and now the Jews are war mongering. In the open and collected as never before, but so deeply bifurcated within. Their walls will never hold. The desecration of the temple was a Jewish affair, no less than its blessed construction. We are a beautiful and sick people, but our sickness should be our end.

What filth has permeated the soul of man who deluded himself with promises of redemption if he should only spread half the truth. Its remainder would unravel his very being. Die, and be done with it. Redemption does not live in this land. It is all our fates you seal.

We Jews have always struggled to see the writing on the wall. We have preferred to read God’s writing in books, from time’s long past. Make no mistake, the Torah is still being written. God’s writing enlivens our world everyday, and we are the prophets.

To be a scholar is a thing of hatred. It is to forcibly deny the present, seeking answers elsewhere to the here and now. Our world lives and breathes, in precious passing moments, and you would bury your head in the tomb of literature? I cannot decide what is worse: your weakness or your fatigue.

To the talkers I say this: shut your mouths and listen.

To the listeners I say this: good. You have begun.

To the beginners I say this: you must know when to speak.

When the truth is bleak, delusion is a sedative. Do not be fooled. It is a contemporary one.
