Single and Happy
Single and happy,
That’s what they say,
Blow the cobwebs
Of the old relationship away.

I’ve been single and happy, and would always rather be single and happy than in a relationship with the wrong person. Relationships come with certain stresses and pressures which being single relieves. I remember breaking up with my ex-boyfriend and suddenly having all this free thinking space which had previously been occupied with worrying about the failing relationship.
However, the love and support from a relationship is very special, and I think I’m happier in a relationship with someone to share good moments with and someone who makes me happy. Obviously happiness should come from within first of all, but it is nice to have an external source of it too.
