Money is not the problem. People are.

Every time I hear things like “Money is evil”, “It corrupts lives”, “It doesn’t make you happy” and many others. I ask myself… Are these people really serious?” I mean, I get it. Some individuals with money get away with things like: tax evasion, corruption, looking down on others, and even crime. Which of course are all wrong, and unfair.

But despite all this, the fact of the matter is that: You can’t blame every person with money for the wrong doing of others. It’s like saying all poor people are uneducated, and they’ll rob you if they see you walking down the street. You and I can agree that both of these are misleading stereotypes. Nothing more. Right? That being said, I truly believe someone’s lack of moral values, and respect for others has nothing to do whatsoever with money, or the lack of.

Let’s call it like it is: If you give money to an abusive, disrespectful, and unethical poor person; you will get an abusive, disrespectful, and unethical rich person. On the other hand, those who want to make a positive impact on other people lives, would do extraordinary things if they only had the financial means to act upon the intentions.

Right now, somewhere in the world, a future engineer, doctor, or somebody who could make a significant difference in the life of many people; will not be able to go to college to achieve that dream. All because he or she can’t pay for it. Money would help them don’t you agree?

Money is not evil.

And, unless civilization goes back to trading beans for bread, money is not going away any time soon. So don’t demonize it, and say it’s not important. Money is very important to take care of your personal needs, and you family needs.

So, go and make money.
