He doesn’t confuse or scare me. I worry more about those who waste their time figuring out what he’s up to, then waste our time warning us or (worse) soothing us. A student of such things once simplified it: “By their fruits you shall know them.” Years later, of course, some fool boiled it down even further: “Kill them all. God will know his own.”
