See Memento Twice
Tommy Galloway

There are many films I like to revisit especially after a little time has lapsed. But something that my father taught me many years back. If you watch a film that was filmed, lets say something made during a specific time like pre-World War II or during the Cold War. He would say, try to put yourself into that state of mind time. So when I revisit even older films I always try to look at it as if I was in the theater the day it was released. This is why I tell you this, I would recommend a film to younger people and they come back and say things like, I don’t watch movies in Black and White or why did people dress like that. Once you put yourself into that state of mind to the time the film was released I think there may be something you really missed.
