West Elm quality has always sucked — you are better off at Ikea if you can’t afford “the real thing” such as Room & Board, Mitchell Gold, etc. A couch should last for a decade or more.

There was a very amusing thread on Apartment Therapy several years back about a West Elm bed frame that was know to collapse during extra-curricular activities, so-to-speak . . . .
