Hiding in Plain Sight

the chorus warmed, delighted and made us exultant

the acoustic grandeur was matched by the visual splendour of the venue

just as the song was enhanced by the kermit arms of the conductor so the lights hung from the stucco bound ceiling drawing out ocular enjoyment

but distraction could not last

for just as the performers would retire from the stage, and the luminosity declined so eye would be drawn to the unlit trumpery

their adornment sullied by harsh modern architraves from where the lights hung to embellish the ornamentation

just as we noted how overt were the position of the illuminations designed to draw our eyes to the edifcations

the tune raised it’s glory and we were freed from distractions which no longer needed concealment

the chorus dazzled and beamed and we saw only with our ears

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
