This is an important time. Because of Uber/Fowler there is going to be a brief period of listening. Women must take this opportunity to say something! I suggest this: HR should report directly to the president/CEO. HR should be charged with the responsibility of promoting a more diverse/inclusive workforce. Period. The president/CEO should encourage independent thinking in their HR exec. I had the pleasure of building a business where this was the case. It worked.
