Sorry, but that is such a bigoted post in so many ways. You are as entitled to your view on the subject as anyone else, but you do not tackle any of the substance of this ‘manifesto’, instead assuming that we will automatically share your interpretation of it and your disgust at those who may also hold views you find ‘distateful’.
Censorship, for whatever reason, is oppression, suppression of the freedom of expression — even ‘bigots’ have a right to express their views and the rest of us have the right to challenge the validity of those views in an open, rational and thoughtful manner.
The problem today is that a highly vocal, and increasingly powerful, ultra left leaning minority within our culture have elected themselves the ‘guardians of our moral conscience’, whose function, it seems, is to determine what thoughts or words are appropriate for us less enlightened mortals.
The simple but highly toxic result of this is that ‘racism’, ‘sexism’, ‘xenophobia’ and general ‘bigotry’ have lost their true meanings and have been replaced with the general definition of “anything we don’t like the sound of”.
This culture is dangerously dictatorial and oppressive — the US has seen the dark days of the McCarthyist witch hunts, and the world as a whole has seen more extreme versions in Nazism and Stalinism etc(please don’t embarrass yourself by invoking ‘Godwin’s Law’ there).
You simply CANNOT create a culture where views you don’t like are simply outlawed.
Which is worse — a ‘challenging opinion’? Or an ‘act of oppression’?
