How the Anti-Meat Narrative is going to get us all Killed

Props to you for thinking beyond the “anti” campaign. Most folks who advocate doing away with a product or practice fail to acknowledge that something else must rise to take its place. People still gotta eat.

Unfortunately, your analysis ignores economics. Commercial-scale agriculture feeds a growing population efficiently leaving discretionary income for things like iPads to blog on. To reverse history and send populations back to the farm would result in spreading the same earnings over more families or raising prices (cost of living) for the consumer. Either way adds up to a reduced standard of living in economic terms. Noble philosophical choices have real world consequences.
